Ola Electric Motorcycle Cruiser – Futuristic Design with 200 km Range & Connected Tech

Ola Electric Motorcycle Cruiser, already famous for its scooters, is stepping into the motorcycle market with four concepts, and the Cruiser is the most unique among them. While most EV bikes are either streetfighters or sporty machines, the Ola Cruiser is designed for long-distance comfort riding. It brings a blend of premium styling, futuristic technology, and effortless performance. This model will target riders who love highway touring but also care about sustainability.

Ola Electric Motorcycle Cruiser Design and Styling

The Ola Cruiser has a low-slung body design, wide handlebars, and a stretched-out stance – all trademarks of a cruiser motorcycle. It features a round LED headlamp, full fairing, wide seat, and chunky tyres, making it look muscular and road-dominant. The feet-forward seating posture ensures relaxed long rides, while chrome-inspired finishes and futuristic LED elements give it a modern EV identity.

Performance and Motor Specs

Ola has not yet revealed the final specs, but reports suggest the Cruiser will get a mid-drive motor with around 15–20 kW (20–27 bhp) of power. This will allow a top speed of 130–140 km/h, making it a proper highway-ready EV. The instant torque delivery will provide effortless overtaking, even when riding two-up with luggage. Compared to petrol cruisers like Royal Enfield Meteor 350, the Ola Cruiser promises a smoother and vibration-free ride.

Battery and Range

One of the biggest highlights of the Ola Cruiser will be its large battery pack. The company is aiming for a range of 180–220 km per charge, which makes it suitable for intercity rides. The bike will support Ola’s Hypercharger network, where users can charge up to 50% in just 20 minutes. For home charging, a standard charger will be included, making it convenient for everyday use.

Riding Comfort and Ergonomics

Being a cruiser, the Ola Electric Cruiser focuses on rider comfort over speed. The wide cushioned seat, relaxed riding triangle, and smooth suspension setup will make it ideal for long-distance touring. The wide tyres and low center of gravity will ensure stable highway cruising, while disc brakes with dual-channel ABS will provide safe braking. For Indian highways, this comfort-first approach will attract mature riders who want a premium EV experience.

Smart Features and Technology

Just like Ola scooters, the Cruiser will be tech-heavy. It will come with a large TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, GPS navigation, multiple riding modes, cruise control, and voice commands. Riders will also be able to monitor battery health, charging status, and performance data through the Ola Electric app. OTA (Over-the-Air) software updates will ensure the bike keeps improving even after purchase.

Ola Electric Motorcycle Cruiser Price and Launch Timeline

The Ola Electric Cruiser is expected to launch in 2025–2026, making it one of the first proper electric cruisers in India. The estimated price will be around ₹2.5 – 3 lakh (ex-showroom). With FAME-II subsidies and low running costs, it will compete against petrol cruisers like Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Jawa 42 Bobber, and Honda H’ness CB350. Ola’s wide charging network will also give it a strong advantage.
