Ultraviolette F99 (Track Bike) – All-Electric Supersport with 65 HP & 265 km/h Top Speed

The Ultraviolette F99 is not just another electric motorcycle, it is India’s first all-electric track-focused superbike. Designed purely for racing, this machine brings aerospace-inspired technology, lightweight design, and high-speed performance to the EV world. Unlike normal road EVs, the F99 has been developed to compete against petrol superbikes on race tracks. It represents the next chapter of electric mobility in India where performance and sustainability come together.

Design and Aerodynamics

The F99 looks futuristic with sharp lines, aggressive fairing, and aerodynamic winglets. Its design is heavily inspired by fighter jets and racing prototypes. Every panel is made to reduce drag and improve cornering stability at high speed. The winglets generate downforce, which gives better grip and control, especially on fast corners. The bike also has a race-oriented riding posture with low clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs, making it suitable only for track riders.

Performance and Speed

The Ultraviolette F99 produces a massive 120 horsepower (90 kW), which is almost double the power of the company’s street model F77. With this power, the F99 can reach a top speed of 265 km/h, making it the fastest electric bike ever made in India. The acceleration is instant, thanks to the electric motor’s direct torque delivery. Riders can experience lightning-fast sprints without any gearshifts, making it smoother than petrol superbikes on track.

Battery and Range

Since the F99 is a race bike, its battery is designed more for performance than long range. It uses a high-density liquid-cooled battery pack that delivers constant power during track runs. Ultraviolette has not revealed the exact range, but since it’s a racing machine, the expected endurance is around 60–80 km per charge on the track. The fast-charging feature allows the bike to recharge quickly between races, making it practical for motorsport use.

Track Technology

The F99 is equipped with advanced racing technology like aerospace-grade composites, lightweight chassis, and race-tuned suspension. It features multiple riding modes, traction control, regenerative braking, and high-performance racing tyres. The electronic control system continuously monitors motor temperature, battery health, and rider inputs to deliver maximum performance without overheating. This makes the F99 a serious competitor against petrol-powered 600cc–1000cc superbikes on circuits.

Price and Launch Expectations

Ultraviolette has announced the F99 as a concept race bike, and it is expected to enter professional racing events first. A production version could be launched in India by 2025–2026, mainly for premium buyers and enthusiasts. The estimated price might be around ₹12–15 lakhs, considering its high-end performance and racing components. This would make it one of the most expensive Indian electric motorcycles, but also the most advanced.
